Questions, answered

Before you hang up the ladder for good.

What to know about professional Christmas light installation in the Denver metro, from timing to timers to what it costs.

How much does it cost, and what's included?

Every home is different, so pricing is custom to your roofline, trees, and how much you want lit. That's why we start with a free estimate that puts the design, the total, and what's included in writing before you commit. No guessing, and no pressure.

Want a number first? Use our quote calculator. Enter a rough roofline measurement and you'll see a price range right away.

Do you supply the lights, or can you hang mine?
We supply the lights, always. Every display goes up with our own energy-efficient C9 bulbs, chosen for brightness and durability. We don't install customer-owned lights, but that also means we handle the install, takedown, and off-season storage of your set, so it's genuinely one less thing on your plate.
What kind of lights do you use?
We use energy-efficient C9 LED faceted bulbs and 5mm LED string lights, with a range of spacing options and colors to choose from, warm white, cool white, multi-color, red, green, and combinations in between. Every design is custom-built to fit your home and the look you're going for.
Do you store the lights?
Yes, absolutely. After takedown, everything comes back to our facility, where it's checked over and stored for you until next season.
What if something with my display needs attention during the season?
Call us and we'll come out and take care of it. That's part of every installation, so you're not left troubleshooting a dark section of roofline yourself.
When do you install, and when do you take them down?
Installs typically run from late October through mid-December. Certain colors, display styles, and install dates start filling up by the second week of December, so booking early means more options and a longer stretch to actually enjoy your lights, instead of a last-minute scramble. We work around your schedule to find what's best for you.
Can you keep them up through the Stock Show?
Absolutely. We do most of our takedowns in the first couple weeks of the new year, but plenty of homeowners like to keep their lights up through the National Western Stock Show, and that's no problem at all. Just let us know your preferred takedown timeline when you schedule your install.
Will this work with my HOA?
Many communities, including Highlands Ranch and the Castle Pines associations, have their own rules on dates, brightness, and hours. We design around your community's requirements. Let us know your HOA and we'll keep your display within the rules.
Will you protect my roof and gutters?
Yes. Our installs are non-invasive, no nails, screws, or anything that would obstruct your siding, trim, or roofline. We use proper attachment methods throughout and remove everything carefully at the end of the season, with the goal of leaving your home exactly as we found it.
How early should I book?
The sooner, the better. Spots for the 2026 season fill up fast as November gets closer, so booking early gives you the most flexibility on your install date, and the longer stretch to enjoy your lights instead of stressing over last-minute scheduling.
Is the calculator price final?
No. It's a non-binding ballpark. Your final price is set at a free, in-person estimate, where a holiday light consultant looks at your home and designs your display with you. We reach out within 1 business day to schedule it.
How do I measure my roofline?
Add up the edges of your roof you'd like lit, including straight sections and gables. Rough numbers are fine. Google Earth's Measure tool works great for this, and you never have to leave the ground.
Will my Christmas lights be on a timer?
Yes. Every installation we do is connected to a photocell timer, and it's easy to adjust to your preferred settings.
Can you light tall trees?
Yes. Hanging lights on a tall tree is a difficult job and one best left to professionals. We use a boom lift to reach the very tops of trees.
Are professional Christmas lights worth it?
If you want a clean, non-invasive display, yes. That's especially true if you want a more complex design, or if you have a steep roof or tall trees. A professional installer gets the job done efficiently and safely, and you stay on the ground.
Are Christmas lights a fire or safety hazard?
They can be if they're installed improperly or misused. Don't put too many strands of lights on one circuit, and always inspect plugs, bulbs, sockets, and wires for damage. Anything damaged should be thrown out and replaced.
Where do you install?
We install holiday lights for homes throughout the Denver metro, including Denver, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Parker, Centennial, and more. We currently only service homes in Colorado. If your community isn't listed, ask anyway.
